Iranzo: ''We'll be eternally grateful to the teammates and the people of the town"
The player from Picanya talks on VCF Media Radio about his experience after the flash floodings that devastated the southern region of Valencia.
Hugo Duro marked his return from injury by scoring one of the goals in Valencia CF's victory against Getafe CF. After the game, the striker reflected on a successful Matchday 4.
Confidence
We've been playing well, but it was important to get the three points, which is what counts. This victory helps us to have more confidence. Especially those of us playing in attack.
A good start
In all four games so far, we've started well. We started well in Bilbao, then dropped back a bit later. Against Atletico Madrid we had a spectacular first half. Today we were lucky enough to score early and put the game in our favour.
Ambitious when in front
Obviously the game is very long and it can change with any move. The coach was on top of us so that we didn't relax.
Returning to action
I was looking forward to this. In the first game I had to be taken off because of us going down to ten men. In the second game I played 10 minutes... At the end of the day, strikers live off their goals, and I wanted to score my first. I hope that there are more to come.
Scoring the 3,000th goal at Mestalla
It's a coincidence. Hopefully there are many more to come.
Lato's goal
Even though he plays as a winger, he scores a lot of goals in training. Every time he scores a goal I freak out. Today when he scored the goal I put my head in my hands. I'm very happy for him.
